Upon opening Pogo Pictures in 1999, Steve Colby has overseen his thriving production company which focuses on television commercials and image branding. Having directed a variety of projects shot in the US and worldwide for major corporations, Colby has worked with numerous ad agencies and companies that include Norwegian Cruise Line, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, and AT&T among others.

A rare native of Georgia, Colby moved to New York City early in his career, and worked on several films and commercials, but returned to the South with a commitment and passion to establish Atlanta as a desired destination for commercial production comparable to NYC and LA. Successfully accomplishing this goal, Steve has made Pogo Pictures a premier international contender for major advertising campaigns around the world.

Committed to contributing to community and the efforts of well-being, Steve has served as president and board member of The Bridge to Recovery, a nonprofit healing sanctuary that provides people with pathways to overcome traumas suffered in childhood. Colby has also served on the board of CARE and developed a youth program focused on encouraging diverse teens to volunteer worldwide and bring their experiences to others.
